UAGC Transfer Credits: 90 StraighterLine Mappings From the Newest Official Guide (July 2026)
The University of Arizona Global Campus publishes its own StraighterLine transfer guide — and it was just revised on July 15, 2026, making it the freshest official mapping in our entire library. 90 rows, an explicit BSN-prerequisite pathway, three courses that land as upper-division credit, and a 75-credit cap that decides how far you can stack. All of it below.

Key facts: StraighterLine transfer credit at UAGC
The July 2026 UAGC guide (COM-12435) lists 90 StraighterLine options including lab combos — the largest official mapping in our library.
UAGC revised its StraighterLine transfer guide on July 15, 2026 — the newest official school-published guide we track.
Within the 90-credit transfer maximum, at most 75 credits of non-traditional learning (ACE credit like StraighterLine) can apply.
ACC 150 Managerial Accounting, HRM 200 Human Resource Management, and CHEM 450 Biochemistry all transfer as upper-division UAGC credit — rare among partners.
A&P I and II with labs, Microbiology with lab, Statistics, Psychology, and Sociology all carry explicit BSN-prerequisite mappings.
UAGC runs one course at a time in 5.5-week terms — transferred credits are terms you skip entirely.
Ten StraighterLine courses (BUS 101/102, ECE 101/102, PE 101, PHARM 103 and more) land only as electives — know before you buy.
Digital-literacy and computer coursework must be completed within five years to apply — a deadline most stackers never hear about.
- UAGC publishes its own StraighterLine transfer guide (COM-12435), revised July 15, 2026 — the newest official mapping we track anywhere.
- Credit caps: 120 to graduate, up to 90 by transfer, and at most 75 of those from non-traditional sources like StraighterLine — the caps are collective with Sophia and similar providers.
- Rows marked with an asterisk in the official guide require confirmation before credit applies; lower-division rows marked † can satisfy upper-division courses without counting toward the upper-division credit requirement.
- Vocational-level recommendations never transfer, and official evaluation happens only after enrollment with official transcripts on file.

The BSN-prerequisite pathway, mapped course by course
UAGC’s guide does something rare: it names which StraighterLine courses satisfy BSN prerequisites explicitly. The five: Anatomy & Physiology I and II (lecture + lab combos, 4 credits each), Microbiology with lab, Introduction to Statistics, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology. Take the lecture-and-lab pairs — labs alone carry asterisks requiring confirmation, and Microbiology only meets the prerequisite when combined with an approved lab. At StraighterLine prices, the full prerequisite slate costs a fraction of what the same credits would cost at UAGC tuition.
The 90/75 rule: how much of a UAGC degree you can actually transfer
UAGC bachelor’s degrees take 120 credits. Up to 90 can arrive by transfer — and within that, at most 75 credits of non-traditional learning (ACE-recommended credit such as StraighterLine, Sophia, and prior-learning assessment) can apply. The pools are collective across providers. Practically: StraighterLine can carry you a very long way — 75 credits is five full semesters — but the last 30 credits are UAGC’s, and anything beyond 75 non-traditional credits needs regionally accredited sources. Map the pool before you buy, not after.
Not enrolled yet — or already a UAGC student? The caps decide either way
UAGC evaluates credit officially only after enrollment — but the 90/75 caps and the 5-year IT window reward planning before you buy. Pick your scenario:
Path 1You haven’t applied to UAGC yet
- 1Map your stack against the capsPlan which of the 90 rows you’ll use and keep the non-traditional total under 75 credits.
- 2Nursing-bound? Start with the BSN fiveA&P I/II with labs, Micro with lab, Statistics, Psych, and Sociology are the prerequisites the guide maps explicitly.
- 3Apply and send your transcriptOfficial StraighterLine transcripts trigger the evaluation once you’re enrolled — then start with a big head start.
Path 2You’re already a UAGC student
- 1Ask your advisor for your cap totalsHow much of the 90/75 allowances remain determines how much StraighterLine still helps.
- 2Confirm ACE status before buying moreUAGC’s guide warns recommendations change — confirm each course is still active and applicable.
- 3Send your free transcriptCredits post to your degree audit after evaluation; †-flagged rows may unlock upper-division requirements.
UAGC’s official evaluation happens post-enrollment, which makes the pre-purchase math on you: the 90-credit transfer maximum and the 75-credit non-traditional allowance are collective across StraighterLine, Sophia, and every ACE provider, so a heavy stacker’s plan has to fit the pool. Two more clocks tick quietly — information- and digital-literacy coursework expires after five years for transfer purposes, and every recommendation reflects the guide’s revision date, so confirm ACE status with an advisor before adding courses. The upside of the newest guide in our library: what you see here was current as of July 15, 2026.

UAGC + StraighterLine questions
Does UAGC accept StraighterLine credits?
Yes — the University of Arizona Global Campus publishes its own StraighterLine transfer guide, most recently revised July 15, 2026. It maps 90 StraighterLine options to UAGC courses, general-education areas, and competencies. Pass with an ACE-recommended score and send your official transcript.
How many StraighterLine credits can I transfer to UAGC?
UAGC degrees require 120 credits; up to 90 can arrive by transfer, and within that, at most 75 credits of non-traditional learning (ACE-recommended credit like StraighterLine, Sophia, and similar) can apply. The 75-credit pool is shared across all such providers.
Which StraighterLine courses count toward the UAGC BSN?
The official guide maps five prerequisite areas explicitly: Anatomy & Physiology I and II (with labs), Microbiology with lab, Introduction to Statistics, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology. Take the lecture-plus-lab combos — labs alone carry asterisks requiring confirmation.
Do any StraighterLine courses transfer as upper-division UAGC credit?
Yes — three. ACC 150 Managerial Accounting and HRM 200 Human Resource Management both arrive as upper-division credit, and Biochemistry (CHEM 450) carries 4–5 upper-division credits. Several lower-division rows marked † can also satisfy upper-division courses, though they don’t count toward the upper-division credit total.
Which StraighterLine courses should UAGC students avoid?
Ten courses land only as electives: Intro to Business, Intro to Marketing, ECE 101/102, Personal Fitness, Pharmacology, Student Success, Writing for Success, First Aid/CPR, and AI in Professional Communications (worth just 1 credit). They still transfer — they just may not knock out requirements.
Is there a deadline quirk at UAGC?
Two worth knowing: information-literacy, digital-literacy, and computer coursework must be completed within five years to apply, and every recommendation reflects the guide’s revision date — confirm ACE status with an advisor before buying additional courses.
