In this course, we're going to be looking at real companies like Walmart, Starbucks, Amazon and Facebook, and many others to learn the fundamentals of both accounting and finance, but to also learn how to make real assessments, business deductions, and other decisions based on financial data.

Accounting and finance is at the core of business worldwide. Learning and applying these key concepts we'll be discussing could not only prepare you for a direct career in the accounting or financial world, but provide you critical insights that you can apply to any business career to make better decisions for you and your company.

We'll start off the course learning about key financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. Learn the differences between assets, liabilities, and equity. We'll then learn how to apply this knowledge to analyze real companies and help determine how healthy they are, are they performing well, what could be issues they're facing, etc.
