About Platt College
Platt College Los Angeles is a private higher education institute that has presently bloomed into a multi campus institute. The college traces its history to the year 1985 when it as founded to serve the region for educational needs. As the college started its journey it quickly diversified its curriculum branching into three academic fields: legal, medical and creative. The college has come to be accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
Presently, the college operates through four of its campuses: Alhambra Campus, Ontario Campus, Riverside Campus and its newly launched Anaheim Campus. With its student centric environment at the campuses and world class programs, the college incorporates training and experiential learning for the growth and development of its students and ensuring successful careers like no other.
At Platt, for the students the campus life is unique and unlike traditional colleges. The students find ample of academic and learning resources around each of the campuses the college holds. These include design and creative laboratories, computer labs, medical labs, libraries, well equipped classrooms and an interactive experience. The students also find student lounge which serves as meeting point for students, to join others in study groups or simply to sit back and relax. The college understanding the convenience for its students offers both morning and evening classes. Additional services for the benefit of the students that exist are Tutoring and Career Services. Without any extra costs, the students who find themselves lacking in certain academic areas are helped through tutoring which serves as extra help and occur outside of studying hours. Students also find Career Services which are aimed for better career planning of the students, helping them do better at interviews, have impressive cover letters and resumes, and look for better job opportunities.
As for the academic offerings at Platt, these consist of, eight Associate degree programs, two Bachelors degree program, and also programs in Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice and Business Management.
