Trinity College is private and evangelical institute which traces its roots to Florida Bible Institute, founded by Dr. William T. Watson in year 1932. Being a preacher and a pastor in a church in St. Petersburg., he decided to set up an educational institute based in Biblical education. It continued so until in the year 1947 with progress in its programs it adopted its present name.

Based in New Port Richey, Florida, Trinity College of Florida is an interdenominational institute. With its values rooted in Biblical education, the college prepares its students for their responsibility as church leaders and members of society who dedicate their lives in serving their people and their communities.

The campus life at Trinity College is one that offers a transformative experience to each student to develop themselves intrinsically. The college has its Student Government Association providing a chance for students to work as leaders and pick up team building skills. Being a Christian centered college, the students find spiritual and religious as a major part of their life at campus. Spirituality is reinforced through activities such as service to communities, or dorm devotions or mission projects. The college also has its missionary group which takes students to mission projects around the globe. Students engage in community service through serving in the churches or volunteering time for parachurch ministries such as Young Life, or Child Evangelism Fellowship. There is also Chapel which gathers students, along with faculty and administration to come together for worshiping and praying collectively. Students also find themselves being part of fellowships, biblical teaching groups/sessions, and worshiping with others. Besides all this, the students also maintain recreation activities and the college has its athletic teams ‘Tigers’ competing at NCCAA. The official college colors are Black and Gold.

At Trinity College, academic programs consist of three certificate programs, two Associate degree programs and Bachelors degree programs with 13 choices for concentrations and majors. There are also three QUEST programs offered. The notable facility on the campus is Raymond H. Center Library.
