About Pima Medical Institute-Tucson

Pima Medical Institute (PMI) is a private for-profit higher education institute located in Tucson, Arizona. The institute was established in by Richard Luebke, Sr. and his wife, JoAnn in 1972. The college initially started by offering nursing assistant program. It later expanded its programs to offer several allied health care programs. The college facilities also grew during these years to include 17 current campuses distributed on 8 different states. In 2006, PMI started offering online degree programs.

The institute currently offers 5 bachelor and 14 associate degree programs. It also offers 10 professional certification programs and 2 additional courses. Different programs are offered at each campus. PMI is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools. It is currently the largest independent private allied health school in the United States. There are several financial aid programs available at the college offering financial support to the students.
