About National Paralegal College

National Paralegal College is a for-profit private higher education institute that offers online degrees in paralegal studies. The college was established in 2002 by Director Mark Geller, Esq. who established also Legal Data Systems, Inc. First class at the college started in the following year with only 4 faculty members and less than ten students.

The college states that its mission is to provide high quality online education to students who plan to work in the paralegal field and prefer distance learning.

The college offers paralegal certificate, associates and bachelor degree programs. It also has a graduate division, National Juris University, which offers master’s degree programs.  Classes are delivered in real-time through an online visual and audio platform which is known as synchronous learning. Courses include biweekly online in addition to books written specifically for the college. The books are available to the public free of charge and are used as references by many authors. National Paralegal is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission. It accepts credit transfer from institutes that are recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as well as those recommended by National CCRS.
