About Mount Washington College
Mount Washington College is a for-profit private higher education institute located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The college was established in 1900 under the name of Hesser Business College. The college followed since its establishment educational policy that aimed at providing personal support and encouragement to each of its students. In 1975, the college opened its first branch campus in Nashua followed by the establishment of additional campuses in Portsmouth, Salem, and Concord. In 2013, the college got its current name and it also started offering online degree programs in the same year. In 2013, the college terminated its operation at Concord and Portsmouth campuses due to the decline in the student enrollment. In the following year, Nashua and Salem campuses were closed before closing the last campus and terminating the operation of the college in 2015.
The college offered “Mount Washington Commitment” program which allowed students applying to the college to attend their classes without having to pay tuition fees for a determined period before having to decide whether to leave or continue at the college and start paying the tuition fees. The college also offered several scholarships in addition to financial aid programs that provide support to the students.
