Mirrer Yeshiva Cent Institute About Mirrer Yeshiva Cent Institute

Mirrer Yeshiva Cent Institute is a private higher education institute offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Talmudic studies. It is affiliated with the Judaism group. The institute is a successor of the Mirrer Yeshiva that was originally established in 1815 in Mir, Belarus. It had to move in 1914 because of the World War I to Poltava, Ukraine till it moved back to its original location in 1921. However, the Institute has to relocate several times since 1939 to stay away from the Nazi invasion. It first moved to Keidan, Lithuania then to Kobe, Japan before settling in Shanghai, China till the end of the World War II. Afterwards, the institute moved to two campuses in Brooklyn, United States and Palestine.
