About Mid-America College of Funeral Service
Mid-America College of Funeral Service is a private higher education institute located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The college was established by its preceding institutes; the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and the Indiana College of Mortuary Science.
The college aims at providing education to students wishing to start their career in funeral services. The college campus consists of 11,000 square feet offering facilities to the students required for funeral studies as restorative art labs, the W.H. Pierce Library, student lounge as well as administrative and academic offices.
The college offers 3 bachelor degree programs in addition to associate degree and certificate programs. It is accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education. There are several scholarship programs that may financial support students enrolled at the college as Kentucky Funeral Directors Association Scholarship and Indiana Funeral Directors Association Scholarships.
