Florida Technical College About Florida Technical College

Florida Technical College (FTC) is a for profit, accredited private college granting two-year, diploma and bachelor’s degrees in today’s fastest growing occupations. FTC was founded in 1982 to offer post-secondary training in some specialized business fields. EduK is the parent firm and it is owned by Leeds Equity Partners, which is a private equity firm. The university’s campuses are spread through six locations to facilitate choosing the closest to its students; in Orlando, Deland, Cutler Bay, Lakeland, Kissimme and Pembroke Pines.

FTC has a code of conduct focusing on providing its trainee with the entry-level required training and education for employment by merging the institutional resources from one side, to the community involvement and creative abilities from another side.

It has received its license from the Florida Department of Education CIE and was accredited by ACICS. It now offers more than thirty on-campus programs in different specialties to choose from them, and few online courses. The college provides students with iPad and e-books instead of textbooks to keep them exposed to their materials anywhere and anytime and to make it easier for those busy adult students.
