DSN is an educational institute serving primarily in the field of nursing education and healthcare. It was founded in the year 2003 and has greatly evolved into an institute preparing students not just for education but successful careers in both nursing and medical fields. It has also become a center for contribution towards providing its community with quality nursing workforce.

Denver School of Nursing is based in Denver, Colorado and while becoming a huge economic support has also succeeded at training its students into professionals committed to providing world-class patient care and bringing innovative healthcare and medical patient care solutions.

Still growing as a campus community, the student life at DSN is more than just about classroom education. With small classrooms, the students at the school find personal interaction with the faculty; which is aimed at providing a better learning platform. To provide a more active campus life, there is also Student Nurses Association (SNA) and student government which work actively to improve student experience at the school and are sole student representative bodies. The students also get to be part of the larger community as they make Global Health Perspectives program trips, providing health care around the world. Since the school is about training students for better career opportunities, it offers multiple programs to improve student success. This begins with state of the art simulation labs which assist in experiential learning. Students also feel more involved by practicing their skills and improving their learning outside of theory and books. Furthermore students are also offered Career Services which helps students set off for right career approach and helps them in searching for the right jobs; it also facilitates them with interview preparation and resume writing.

The academic programs offered at DSN consist of an Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and RN to BSN Program. It also offers online programs.
