CTU is an institute offering technical education in United States and was established 1965 as Colorado Technical College. When it began the aim and focus of the institute was to offer vocational and technical training and education to the former military serving individuals. As the college progressed and gained prominence, by 1995 it was granted university status and so was renamed to its present name.

Colorado Technical University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The mission of the college is to provide education which is technologically integrated and delivers industry relevant knowledge, developing its students for a lifelong success in career and initiates innovation.

CTU offers online education and also has another campus in Aurora (Denver area). Through all of these, the university provides resources for its students that they need to achieve academic and career success. Besides education, the institute looks after the career readiness of its students and prepares them through career planning and career coaches which help draw out a career line most suitable and also help train for the jobs, prepare for interviews, help write impactful resumes and many more. At its two campuses the students enjoy a campus life which is filled with intellectual exchange with teachers and peers. There is a growing business community in Aurora which provides access to plenty of career opportunities and at Colorado Springs, practical training is offered along with education. It provides five Associate programs, 52 Bachelor’s programs, 51 Masters Degree programs, and 20 Doctoral programs. The university has also developed several educational alliances offering employee training programs to organisations.
