Pacific Oaks College is a private non-profit higher education institute located in Pasadena, California. The college was established by six members of the Orange Grove Monthly Meeting group with the aim of creating a utopian society of peace as a response to sequestering their husbands to mandatory work camps. The college started in 1953 as upper division courses offered through the UCLA Extension. It became a separate college 5 years later. In 2010, the college became part of the TCS Education System.

The college main campus covers 4 acres. The college is served by the Andrew Norman Library on the Eureka Campus which offers 17,000 items focusing on early childhood education and curriculum development, human development, family systems and therapy, and child care. The college also operates several instructional sites distributed in the State of California in Chico, Sacramento, Salinas, and Santa Cruz. The official colors of the college are green and orange.

The college is divided into 3 schools offering 4 bachelor and 9 master’s degree programs in addition to Teacher Credentialing Program. There are several programs also offered online. Pacific Oaks is member of Hispanic Association of College and Universities. Students may get financial support in the form of scholarships, grants or financial aid.
