Morrisville State College is a public coeducational higher education institute located in Morrisville, New York. The college was established in 1908 as a school of agriculture. The college became in 1948 member of the State University of New York at Morrisville, or shortly SUNY Morrisville.

Morrisville states that its mission is to prepare its student to become leaders in their professions and the community. The main campus of the college covers more than 150 acres of the bucolic land in Morrisville. Its contains around 40 buildings with several distinctive facilities as Drake Field Athletic Stadium, Whipple Administration Building, Helyar Hall, Fountain View Hall, Stewart Hall, Matthias Student Health Center, Crawford Hall, Mohawk Hall, Oneida Hall, Galbreath Hall, Butcher Library and Bailey Annex. Additionally, the college has a branch campus close to downtown Norwich, New York adjacent to the Eaton Center. The college operates two separate corporations which are SUNY Syracuse EOC and Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation which provides the dinning services to Morrisville campus as well as other locations as SUNY-ESF. The official colors of the college are green and white while its mascot is called Mustang.

Morrisville State offers 79 academic programs granting bachelor and associate degrees. There are also several courses offered through the continuing education department. The college has a specialized research center for Liquid Biofuels which is funded from New York State Senate. Moreover, it operates since 2002 a fully automated weather station that provides data to support research projects at the college including research for alternative energy resources. Morrisville State is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
