About Luther College
Luther College is a private college for liberal arts located in Decorah, Iowa. It was established as Luther Seminary by Norwegian immigrants in 1861. It is currently affiliated to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In 1866, students at the seminary signed “a rights bill” which was considered as “the worst of sins” by the pastors assembled in a pastoral conference shortly after.
