Life Pacific College Seal About Life Pacific College

Life Pacific College is a biblical higher education institute located in San Dimas, California. It was established in 1923 in Echo Park, Los Angeles by Aimee Semple McPherson under the name of Echo Park Evangelistic and Missionary Training Institute. The name was changed three years later to LIFE Bible College. LIFE is an abbreviation that stands for “Lighthouse of International Foursquare Evangelism” when it moved to a five-story building next to Angelus Temple. In 1990, the college moved to its current campus. It finally got its current name in the early 2000s. A sister college was established in 1957 under the name of Mount Vernon Bible College in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The name of this college was changed in 1988 to Life Bible College East before being closed in 2003 due to financial reasons. Its registers were transferred to Life Pacific Park College.

The college states that its mission is to transform students into leaders serving god in the church, work and life. LPC main campus is located in San Dimas which includes several distinctive buildings as Simonson Center, Hicks Student Center, Hamilton Hall, Cadonau Hall, Canning Hall and McPherson Hall. Additionally, LFC has a branch campus at Christiansburg.

The college is associated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. It offers 6 bachelor degree programs, 2 associate degree programs and a master’s degree program. Life Pacific is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and with Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
