Granite State College (GSC), also commonly known by Granite, is a public four-year university system educational institute that is located in New Hampshire State in the United States. The college was founded in 1972 in Concord region in New Hampshire, where its main campus is located. It was established along with the Keene State College, Plymouth State University and University of New Hampshire to form the university system of New Hampshire. In addition to the main campus that is located in Concord, GSC manages other eight campuses located in New Hampshire which are Claremont, Conway, Lebanon, Littleton, Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth, and Rochester.

Granite mission is to provide public higher education to adults at different ages residing in New Hampshire and the surrounding regions. It aims at offering diverse academic programs and educational services that could match the workforce requirements in the surrounding community. Granite system not only offers up to the standard academic programs but helps also in the development of the students’ personal skills, professional development and the community partnership.

Granite online programs have been awarded the 99th and the 63rd places according to the U.S. News & World Report in 2017 for the undergraduate and graduate programs respectively. It is considered to be the top among all New Hampshire colleges and universities.

The college offers 23 undergraduate programs with many different concentrations in liberal arts and sciences. Additionally, it offers 4 master degrees in education and business. It also offers 4 associate degrees and 4 teacher certification options. AU-ABC Program is a special program as it is a joint degree between Granite State College and the Air University. This program allows that the associate degree in applied sciences that is offered by the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) could be directed towards obtaining a baccalaureate degree from Granite State College.
