Family of Faith College About Family of Faith College

Family of Faith Christian University (FFCU) commonly known as Family of Faith College has been established by Dr. Sam Matthews, his wife Kathy and Family of Faith Fellowship as a non-profit private institution. Dr. Sam finished his undergraduate and graduate studies from Oklahoma Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary respectively. It was founded in order provide churches with well trained members capable of fulfilling astolic and pastoral duties. In 1989, Dr. Sam decided to purchase a property to be able to inaugurate a university with that target.  The university is considered to be a domestic post-secondary college that is administered on a daily basis by a committee of several members including a director of spiritual life. Shawnee City in Pottawatomie County was chosen in 1992 to found FFCU since it possesses a strategic region in Oklahoma State. Shawnee is only 112 miles far away from McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System that linked it with the Mexico gulf and 45 minutes only away from Oklahoma City attractions.

FFCU is a Christian non-denominational private university that possesses an ethics code based on two fundamental substrates: spreading the Holy Spirit while raising graduate students in addition to training laborers who could serve God and church and not discriminating any person either on the student enrollment level or employee hiring level based on nationality, sex, race, color or physical disability hindrance.

FFCU has several interesting unique facts including accepting international students according to the Department of Homeland Security License, having a large community of faculty and staff who believe that they should connect with people through Gospel and following the International Christian Leadership Connections (ICLC) that help in manipulation of academic curricula to fulfill churches requirements worldwide.

FFCU offers 4 master programs in Arts & Divinity with different concentrations related to religious and biblical studies through which the students could learn to serve God and church. The offered programs are designed to enrich the students’ personage, occupational and intellectual capabilities, and moral spirits.
