About California College San Diego

CCSD is a Private non Profit college that began its journey in the 1970s. It marks its origin with Scottsdale Education Center in 1971, an institute offering healthcare as well as technical programs. In 1974, it introduced its program, Respiratory Therapy Technician Program which went ahead for two years till 1976. The college then relocated to California from its prior location in Arizona and adopted its new name, California College for Respiratory Therapy (CCRT) and by 1978, introduced a distance learning program.

During its journey, the college also changed ownership and landed with its current ownership, California College Inc., in 2003 and hence changed its name to California College San Diego. It is based in San Diego, California and is dedicated to providing education to achieving career success through skill development and paving way for best career choices.

Besides San Diego, the college is present at two other locations in California, National City and San Marcos. CCSD stays true to its words in preparing students for career success by providing not only education that is affordable but also one that prepares you for a career at a fast pace understanding the need to begin a career soon. The college also supports all of its students in their journey from day one, from making the best study choice to seeing it through graduation. The students are provided with resources, the latest technology, supplies as well as personal support and counselling. It also partners with some of the best employers as a life support for its students after their graduation. Some of its partners in the network are North County Health Services, American Sleep Medicine and others.

The academic offerings at CCSD consist of Associate, Bachelors and Masters Programs in the field of Healthcare, Business, Technology and Graphic Arts. It offers seven Associate degrees, 16 Bachelors programs and five Masters Programs.
