About Bryan College
A heath care education institute, Bryan was founded by Dr. Mildred T. Bryan in 1940. It was originally named Bryan Stenotype School in a single classroom, Dr. Bryan’s own living room, consisting of three students. She was an exceptional woman with a vision of the future and so determined to make it happen, set about training students to become qualified experts in their fields. This also led to the development of court reporting industry
Bryan College is based in California with campuses in Sacramento and Los Angeles; recently with addition of graduate programs, e-Discovery and Health Informatics, the Los Angeles campus transitioned from a college to university. It also has an international campus in Toronto and also offers online education. The college aims to become the most important contributor in the success of its students. With its innovative approach, one that fits the present day requirements, the students receive a practical educational experience.
Understanding the needs of the professional commitment the field of healthcare requires and the need for its students to be most advanced in their knowledge for a bright career, the university provides every resource that should clear the pathway. The college looks after its students career even after graduation, by offering job placements and tuition free fresher courses. While their time at the institute, outside and inside the classroom, they are encouraged to work with experts in the field, develop a skill portfolio for better career opportunities and also connect with fellow students benefitting from collaborative learning. The university has also formed many partnerships, bringing professional and on field knowledge for its students. Two of its partner organisations are American Academy of Professional Coders, Catalyst and California University of Pennsylvania.
