Angeles College About Angeles College

A recent development in higher education, Angeles College was founded in 2004 by John Krause to serve the healthcare industry and contribute to the training and intellectual development of Healthcare professionals. With success in its endeavors, the college expanded its reach by establishing its satellite campus, ‘City of Industry’ in 2013. The college operates as a Private institute and the campus is situated in Los Angeles, California.

AC with its ‘patient centered’ approach has made quick progress as a healthcare institute. The college has laid down strong foundation for its approach through understanding the culturally diverse nature of it and working towards serving, supporting and engaging with the global community.

Setting another example of a patient centered approach to serving people as well as bringing innovation in the healthcare industry; the college began its Home Health Aide Program in 2015. The program aims to train individuals into Home Health Aide workers specializing in providing in-home treatment to patients who prefer it over hospital facilities. For its students, the college offers ‘Work source’ benefit program providing grants for those of its students that are unemployed. With its ‘Skills Lab’, AC provides practical experience exposure for its students along with clinical experts. All of these are aimed at better improvement of its students as healthcare professionals. Similarly, there are off campus opportunities as well that equip its students with practical experience in patient care.

The academic programs at AC are aimed at providing all nursing and healthcare professional studies under a single roof. The college provides Certifications and Associate degrees as well as Bachelor Degree programs. There are nine different program offerings to choose from. The prominent facility at the campus is the college’s ‘The Separate Classroom’. Located at a distance from the main campus, this facility is equipped equipments and resources for training.
