Salary and Employment

The type of person that does well in the field of education prefers to deal with the general public, children, staff members, and a combination of different personalities. Children are the most popular choice for a career field, but college students and adults returning to school for furthering their education is a large part of the system.

The outlook for educators and teachers may look a little depressed at the moment, but it will increase by the year 2020. Right now there is a need for educators and teachers in different fields other than traditional school. There are calls for private school teachers, adult educators and home school teachers. Other jobs as tutors, international teachers, military teachers and many other sources will open new fields. There will always be a need for good teachers and teaching methods everywhere.

There are also many specialty positions available in certain advanced subjects (like Calculus or English Literature0 and in unique learning environments (prisons, handicap schools, etc).
